Warranty Conditions

Warranty conditions of an online purchase.

CAREFULLY REVIEW THE FOLLOWING WARRANTY CONDITIONS FROM OUR SUPPLIERS:

All goods supplied by the seller, sold online, shall be supplied subject to these terms and conditions only:

Please note that the Warranty is only valid on presentation of proof of purchase (email or hardcopy) and from the date of purchase. To validate the warranty, a proof of installation invoice is required, for all car audio items. This is an additional tax invoice for fitment to a vehicle, from any VAT registered car audio fitment centre. Remember that Subwoofers, Speakers and Tweeters do not carry any type of warranty whatsoever. Largely due to the fact that as a retailer we are not in control of the conditions these products are being used under. We have a no refunds policy and all sales are final. For exchanges on items correctly supplied kindly contact us for approval first. Once approved, items must be returned at your expense. These must be sent with a courier or delivered to our office along with all original packaging (at your expense) and must be in original sellable condition. Once inspected we reserve the right to refund or return the items and a handling fee of 15% applies.

Notice:

Our Warranty: As per our supplier agreement, we offer a repair warranty and not a replacement warranty. Goods will have to be returned to the store at the customer’s expense. We will then return these for repair to our suppliers. Spare parts availability and other factors can affect turnaround times ranging from 1 week to 4 weeks or more. Our primary concern remains to have these items returned to you as soon as possible and in full working condition.

Out of Box Failures: These are items with a factory fault or defect and any issues must be reported within 14 days from date of purchase. We reserve the right to replace with an identical item or one of equivalent value if the following conditions are met. The item and packaging is returned at your expense with no visible damage or scratches and in a new sellable condition. Remember to return with all the original packaging as suppliers require this before authorizing any replacement unit.

Misuse: The Warranty only covers factory faults and not faults caused by incorrect wiring, negligence, abuse or acts of nature etc., example water damage. The warranty also excludes remote controls, cracked LCD displays and broken or damaged, face control panels, clips, hooks, USB ports, zips or plastic pins. We will not accept any responsibility for any towing costs or any consequential damage caused by items not functioning as expected.

Warning: Loud music can cause permanent damage or hearing loss. Never operate vehicle that has a video playing on the dashboard screen while vehicle is in motion. We will not be held responsible for any consequential damage or loss due to use of any item sold by Us.

Blown Subwoofers, Speaker and Tweeters: Do not play subwoofers with the boot/hatch open or risk possible damage to equipment. It’s recommended to “play in” Subs and Speakers by keeping volume to a minimum for at least one week after initial installation. Thereafter and for the full duration of usage reduce volume periodically to allow voice coils to cool down eg. 1 minute or less on high volume then 1 minute or less on low volume and repeat. Remember, excessive high volumes at a constant rate may overheat coils and thus cause permanent damage your audio equipment. Low battery or insufficient battery power will also cause serious damage so always keep engine running while in use. Make sure to charge the vehicle’s battery at least once a week as it’s alternator is only sufficient to maintain the battery in its current state. Make sure to purchase an extra battery/capacitor if required or if it becomes necessary at a later stage.
